We are pleased to have two local races taking place for the 2020 season. This is an introduction to ski racing for many of our skiers, and we work to make it a positive experience for everyone. Should there be no snow on the date of race, it will happen at a later date. Both races will be taking place at the Rockway Golf Course during the normal practice (first start at 2:30). All Waterloo Region youth skiers are automatically entered into both races.
The races are as follows:
- Sunday January 26th – the Cookie Race
Everyone ‘wins’ a hot chocolate and a cookie post race.
- Sunday February 16th – King’s Court
(we realize this is Family Day – and if you can’t make it, don’t worry about it!)
We will be using an Interval Start (one skier starts at time).
We hope to see everyone out there, and keep your fingers crossed for snow!
