Our Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday May 24th, 2023 at 8:30pm via Zoom.
Registration Instructions will be posted to wrnsc.ca closer the AGM.
All members are encouraged to attend. This is a great opportunity to learn about your Club as well as your chance to nominate and vote for the next Board of Directors. For members under 18, a parent or guardian may act as a voting member. See bylaws for details.
Please note the meeting will open at 8:00pm to allow everyone time to join and become familiar with the program. The actual meeting will start at 8:30pm.
To avoid any unnecessary background noise and keep the program running smoothly for all internet connections, we ask you keep your microphone muted and your video off when you first enter the meeting. Directions will be provided at the beginning of the meeting for how to ask questions, provide feedback, and securely vote. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at info@wrnsc.ca. Seeking Nominations for the 2023-2024 Board of Directors
Interested in contributing to the success of WRNSC and ensuring we continue to offer the best possible cross-country ski opportunities to the community? Please consider running for the Board of Directors! In this role you will be involved with the behind the scenes running of the club. The Board typically meets once a month during the fall and winter, and a couple times during the spring and summer. A few examples of the jobs you may be involved with include setting budgets, liaising with the City regarding trails and facilities, and evaluating program structures with input from coaches and families. If you have any questions or are interested in nominating yourself or someone else to serve on the Board, please contact info@wrnsc.ca. The Board Elections will take place at the upcoming Annual General Meeting on Wednesday May 24th at 8:30pm.
