ONE MORE INTRODUCTION TO SKIING EVENT, FOR FAMILY DAY WEEKEND
If you would like to try cross country skiing, consider joining us this Saturday afternoon for what will likely be our last Introduction to Skiing event of the season. We supply the ski equipment (if you need it), and we provide a lesson on our trails at Rockway, and you supply the energy.
The event will take place at 1:00 pm, February 14, with registrants to meet at the Rockway Golf Club House at 625 Rockway Dr, Kitchener. This time, we are able to open the event to about 20 adults. And we are also able to extend an invitation for up to 5 children aged 4 to 6. The children will take part in the type of ski ‘lesson’ that we provide to our Bunnyrabbits. Parents are encouraged to stay for the lessons, and the parents do not need to be wearing skis.
The cost for the event is $25 per adult participant and $10 per child.
If you wish to register, please send an email to Ken Campbell (kccampbell@golden.net), providing your name, height, and shoe size. He will confirm your registration once we verify that we have equipment for you.
