Grooming Update Jan 26
I completed 4 laps with the groomer around mid-day today. The objective was to pack in yesterday’s snow. I did not track-set for classic. Re-grooming tomorrow night or Saturday will determine if tracks are possible.
Thin Coverage
Rockway is finally open for skiing. Snow coverage is thin and conditions may change rapidly.
Snow got blown away
We tried to groom this morning, but the wind had blown most of the snow away over the most of the trail.
Maybe grooming tomorrow
Snowmobile is locked up at the shop for service. They’re running behind and closed today last minute. I might get access Saturday morning, which would let us groom on Sat. Enjoy the snow! If you’re at Rockway, please stick to marked trails.
