Waterloo Region Nordic Sports Club is hosting
Adult Recreational Ski Day – Free Event
February 8, 2025 1pm-3pm
Rockway Golf Course, 625 Rockway Drive, Kitchener
BYOM – Bring your own Mug!
Fellow adult skiers of all abilities are invited to join us for an afternoon of fun skiing, socializing and refreshments. We have 3.5km of classic and skate groomed trails over the beautiful rolling terrain of the Rockway Golf Course in central Kitchener. Drinks and snacks, warming area and washrooms are available in the shared clubhouse, which we are very pleased to be able to use with the support of the City of Kitchener. WRNSC jackets will be on sale.
If you are an adult WRNSC member, we will help you hot-wax your skis, using the same type of durable glide wax that we use for our youth rental skis. We will bring the waxing machine and tools, and we will show you how to scrape and polish your own skis.
