There is still snow left at Bechtel, though there are some thin and icy spots. Not enough left for grooming this weekend. Bechtel could be fun if you’re looking for an exciting zip through the woods, but for a more in-control experience, you’re probably better off going for crust skiing at a golf course.
I renovated the trails for skating last night. More electrical issues last night and this morning, so unfortunately no classic track.
I was originally planning on grooming tonight (Sunday night), but we ended up with liquid snow instead of white snow 🙁 Since the base is quite wet right now, I’ll wait until tomorrow evening to groom.
Bed sheets, night gowns, and PJs are made of silk, but so are your trails, at least when I left them this morning at 8:00, all groomed for classic and skating around the entire network of trails. Enjoy the silken path…
The forecast sure looks nice for snowfall! Just a heads up that we’re planning on grooming at Bechtel on Saturday morning and again on Sunday evening.
More snow and a repaired track setter is delivering happiness all around the network…skating and classic tracks are set everywhere minus one hill. The wind in the fields might make it look I did nothing in some parts, but do enjoy nevertheless.
I renovated all of the trails on the fields and in the woods. Due to an electrical issue, I was only able to groom for skating; no classic track. We hope to get the issue resolved before the end of the week.
I rolled, renovated and track set this morning the entire network; fortunately we have enough snow, unfortunately, the rising temperatures means that the track setting will not firm up, but it it will good for the day. We’ll do more when the temps are cold this week.
